Reclaiming Ritual: A Rooted Retreat in Joshua Tree
Oct. 28 - Nov 1
For the leader, executive, facilitator and entrepreneur woman— exhausted by the endless doing, who is ready to remember herself:
The world tells women that rest is optional. That perfection, productivity, and endless giving are the price of being seen, loved, or “enough.” It tells us that our role as mother, caretaker, fighter, organizer, achiever requires our energy to be endless… with no replenishing. Hustle culture thrives on our sacrifice. The invisible labor of caregiving, creating, and managing everything leaves us depleted, burnt out, and disconnected from our own rhythm.
Our western world has conditioned us to believe that daily rituals and check-in practices are frivolous, woo-woo, or silly. But ritual and rest are not frivolous... they are necessary. And this retreat is a place to reclaim both.
This retreat is a radical pause for women to reclaim their bodies, energy, and inner wisdom.
In a world that is profiting from our exhaustion and intense fear, we strip away surface-level self-care and return to what truly restores: slowing down, listening to your body, and embracing ritual (and magic!)
designed for women who are burnt out by their life and roles:

“It was an absolutely amazing trip, and I think I will cherish the memories for as long as I live. As a mom of 2 I feel like I am always prioritizing everyone else’s needs above mine and the retreat was literally the reset I needed. I don’t think we could have had a better group. I feel like I had a connection with everyone and I could have never have dreamt the female camaraderie and support I would experience..”
- Rooted Retreat Attendee
When you are a high-functioning woman, it takes a long time for your body, your nervous system, and your mind to settle from all of the tabs you have open:
Being a leader, an executive, a facilitator, an entrepreneur– means you get to determine where the path leads, and are simultaneously creating a better future by setting an example of heart-led leadership.
But there’s one problem: who's taking care of you?
As women of ambition, high-level performance, and visionary leadership… there is always more to get to on the never-ending to-do list. There is forever a problem to solve, a team to coach, a deliverable or meeting to run, and an endless stream of consciousness running through your head in the shower each night.
If there is one thing we know, it’s that women can continually push through, no matter the weight they are carrying– and outperform the normal standard. We can build the businesses. We can hit the target revenue and care for our families and uphold the world.
But one thing we are consistently horrendous at… is actually resting. Many of us don’t even know what true, deep rest actually feels like.
And that’s where this Joshua Tree Retreat steps in. A space to learn how to be in deep-relationship with your body, formulate new rest rituals and habits… and most importantly– be fully catered to, cared for, and held… by someone else.
You deserve to be taken care of the way you take care of your team, your business, your mentees. This rooted retreat is designed specifically for the woman who believes if she leaves her post, the world may crumble. That if she steps out of her role of managing, fixing, upholding…things will come to a halt.
We have to remind our bodies that it is safe to rest. And it starts by teaching our nervous system that the world will in fact, not crumble if we take the time we need to replenish ourselves.
Every decision and experience of this retreat is designed to guide you in reclaiming your own energy and cycles. You’ll learn to recognize the subtle ways your body signals depletion, and how to respond before exhaustion takes hold. You’ll practice slowing your mind so that creativity, clarity, and intuition can surface. You’ll reconnect to your natural rhythms and discover that rest is not passive… it is active, deliberate, and transformative.

You can arrive here without knowing how to be you again:
On this retreat, you are not running on the world’s timeline— you are utilizing the space to create your own. Every ritual, every yoga class, every experience, every pause, every breath is designed to restore you, and to remind you that your body, your presence, and your life deserve attention, care, and reverence.
Real, impactful self-care rituals come from what’s already accessible to us. Real, radical self-care is learning to slow down, to inhabit your body fully, and to honor the rhythms you’ve ignored for too long. That’s exactly what we will cultivate here:
You arrive carrying the weight and roles of your everyday life.
The wide-open space, quiet support, and communal connection begin to soften the tension you’ve been holding and bracing
Through shared meals, honest conversations, and time spent alongside other women, you remember what it feels like to be seen without needing to perform
If you don’t yet know what your own rhythm is, there is space here to explore it—gently, without pressure—and begin to reconnect with your identity beyond what you’ve had to be
Slowing down in this environment naturally brings you back into your own rhythm, or helps you discover one for the first time. Your mind, body, and nervous system begin to reset. You become reconnected to the signals inside yourself that you started to ignore.
Your body softens, creating space for deeper presence, joy, creativity, and meaningful connection.
By the time you leave, you feel lighter, clearer, and more connected—to yourself, to others, and to the subtle, powerful energy of the world around you.
Deepening Our Experience:
01 / Deeply Restorative Rest
We will journey inward together and experience the gentle unfolding that comes with complete surrender and they joy of non-doing.
As decompression from the regular flow of life can take time, we will be practicing Yoga Nidra each day to facilitate the opening and unwinding into a state of deep, grounded calm.
02 / A Return to Ceremony
We will invite ceremony back into our lives through differing practices that will remind us how to create ceremony in our daily lives. Through the practices of Yoga, Tea and Womb Ceremonies, you’ll be invited to slow down, listen inward, and release tension or stored emotions - there’s nothing to do “right,” simply an opportunity to soften, feel, and deepen the connect with yourself.
03 / Uniquely Catered to You
We will be listening to ourselves and fully catering to our own desires by creating individualized ceremonial blends of tea, massage oil, and aromatherapy that meet our specific needs. We can learn how to continue this practice at home and leave with a “starter kit” of these essential ingredients to creating an individualized sacred space.
Our private and intimate villa is perfectly suited for rest, ritual, and connection, with expansive indoor and outdoor areas for moments of deep inner reflection and communal support.

Move, stretch, and flow in the outdoor yoga pavilion, or gather around the large fire pit for stories, stargazing, and connection.

Each time we visit, we remember how nature mirrors our own inner world: where strength, rest, and resilience can exist even within the sparse conditions. The desert reminds you that strength and beauty can emerge even in the quietest, simplest spaces….and that you, too, are part of that resilience. And more importantly, part of that beauty.
The desert is vast, quiet, and… open. It’s spiritual. With fewer distractions and a grand sense of space stretching to the horizon, it’s easier to drop the mental noise and tune into your body, your breath, and your inner voice. It’s easier to connect. It’s easier to sleep, create, and play.
For thousands of years, Indigenous peoples and ancient cultures have recognized the desert as a space of vision, ceremony, and deep transformation. The rhythm of sun, wind, and sky create a natural container for reflection… one we have become disconnected from in our daily lives. Rituals, intention-setting, and reflective practices are always amplified here.
-
Throughout our time, a private chef will take expert care of our body’s needs by offering a delicious fully vegetarian meal plan to nourish our bodies and souls during our stay.
We will also be supported by a wonderful healing and guide through the Joshua Tree National Park. Leading us through a cacao & sound ceremony in the beautiful park.
